Change email breaks account

description

When a user changes their email in the forum/user section, the account then becomes disconnected. Looking at tables, the applicationuser record has the correct "new" email but the forumuser record has the old email.

What do you mean with 'disconnected' ? I've just tried changing password on an user, and nothing seems to fail. In what way do you see the error ?

After you change the email, try to go back and view the user settings in the forum admin users section. There is nothing there.

Ah, you're using the ASP.NET Identity package? I'll try that too.
